# Project Dashboard

* **Go to Analytics or Dashboard.**
* Click **“Add Card”** to open the card selection window.
* Select a predefined chart like:
  * **Overdue Tasks by User**
  * **Tasks Completed This Week**
  * **Tasks by Assignee Due This Week**
  * **Time in Custom Field**
* To create a custom chart, click **“Add Custom Chart”** and configure:
  * **Metric Type** (Tasks, Time Tracking, Budget, etc.)
  * **Filters** (By User, Date, Project, etc.)
  * **Chart Type** (Bar, Line, Pie, etc.)
* Click **Save**, and the chart will appear on your dashboard.

The data in SmartTask's custom charts and reports **auto-updates** in real time.

Whenever tasks, time tracking, budgets, or other project elements are modified, the corresponding **dashboard cards and reports update automatically**. You don’t need to refresh or manually update them.
