# Settings

These settings define the core rules of the Karma Points system:

* **Default Points on Task Completion** Automatically assign points when a task is completed
* **Late Completion Rule** Reduce points if tasks are completed after the due date (e.g., 50%)
* **Monthly Limits** Control how many points can be distributed:
  * Group Admins: Higher limit
  * Core Members: Standard limit
* **Allow Negative Karma** Enable deduction of points when necessary
